Il Chiostro is a non-for-profit association that intends to promote a culture, practice and regulation of transparency in lobbying. Their main purpose is to defend lobbying as a serious profession that deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.

Giuseppe Mazzei, Il Chiostro President and Founder and Chairman MazzeiHub. He is a journalist, essayist and Italian Professor.

The Association
Il Chiostro is an association that wants to promote the culture, practice, and regulation in representing the interests of transparency.

Il Chiostro Objectives
Il Chiostro wants to help change this simplistic approach to lobbying, with four objectives:

1. disseminate the values and culture of pluralism and democracy open to dialogue with anyone who has to represent the legitimate interests of public decision-makers;
2. outline a clear identity of lobbying distinct from others as its characteristics are still confused and improperly treated and disseminated in public;
3. obtain a clear, simple, and untainted by prejudice;
4. contribute to appropriate interdisciplinary training based on the sound ethical values of lobbyists.

Il Chiostro Code of Conduct
With its Code of Conduct, Il Chiostro intends to promote a culture of transparency in the representation of interests with the further intention of contributing to the definition of common rules of conduct recognized by both those who carry out this activity and those who come into contact with it.
