On the 6th and 7th of May 2011,Il Chiostro and APRI launched an unprecedented and historic initiative in Europe bringing together  the representatives of all public affairs associations, which represent professional lobbyists in each one of the EU countries. The goal was to create a stable network which could coordinate the activities of all these associations.

Indeed, the key aim of this gathering was to initiate the “Public Affairs Professionals Community of  Europe” which, on the one hand, will advance ethical and democratic values of lobbying and, on the other, will define the profile of the EU professional lobbyist. During the conference in May, the representatives of the public affairs associations/companies of 27 EU countries shared their experiences and discussed the most important issues of such professional activity.
