PACE SUPPORTS DEGEPOL INITIATIVE FOR A INTERESSENBEAUFTRAGTER” at DEUTSCHER BUNDESTAG

P.A.C.E - Public Affairs Community of Europe - is pleased to support de|ge|polâ initiative towards implementing a Interessenbeauftragter at Deutscher Bundestag – a new transparency initiative with the aim of appointing a Commissioner for the Representation of Interests at the German Bundestag.

PACE considers this initiative to be a landmark project to the discussion about transparency in interest representation and Lobbying in Germany.

PACE members expect it brings a new approach in discussing the heavily biased public debate. It might also showcase a shift of perception on how professional and transparent interest representation empowers political transparency.

The German initiative, as well as the public debate it already has stimulated, will be closely watched all over Europe.

All members of PACE support this initiative and wish de|ge|pol good luck in implementing the Interessenbeauftragter at Deutscher Bundestag.
